EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF CHARLESTON
Meet Captain Dan
With 30 years of experience and a passion for the sea, Captain Dan Cremer is your guide to unforgettable adventures.
My adventure began way back in the early 90s, a wide-eyed 16-year-old cutting through the waters of Barnegat Bay. That early passion for the sea set my course, leading me straight into the U.S. Navy.
After graduating Navy Nuclear Power School in Charleston, and then Texas A&M, I was stationed in San Diego and climbed the ranks aboard the USS Lake Champlain (CG-57), serving as both the Auxiliaries Officer and Navigator. On that vessel, I earned my stripes as a qualified Engineering Officer of the Watch and Officer of the Deck Underway, roles where safety and security weren’t just buzzwords, but the bedrock of every decision.
My naval career also included brief, impactful stints on the USS Nevada (SSBN 733) and the USS Cape St. George (CG-71), further solidifying my diverse experience in various naval operations. Since leaving the Navy in 2005, I’ve continued to answer the call of the ocean, spending time at sea on and off, always with an unwavering commitment to operational excellence and the well-being of all on board.
When it comes to maritime matters, you can trust my experience. I’ve navigated countless waters around the world, faced diverse challenges, and always prioritized a safe and secure environment. So, if you’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of the sea, who brings a seasoned, yet spirited, approach to every voyage, you’ve found your captain!
